Welcome to our corner of the web. This brand you see before you? It wasn’t born in a fancy boardroom, but right here in East Oakland. Back then, I was juggling two jobs, raising my two sons as a single dad, and dreaming of something more.

You see, I wanted to be my own boss. Not just for freedom, but to create something meaningful, something that reflected the values I was teaching my boys. That’s where the idea for this brand sparked.

We’re all about ditching the mainstream and rocking designs that speak to something deeper. We don’t chase fleeting trends or recycle pop-culture references. Instead, we tap into the heart of causes we believe in, the values that matter. We provide unique variety for the global fashion enthusiast community through a collective of clothing brands in each market level of the fashion industry.

Our mission is to provide a unique variety of brands for the fashion enthusiast through a collective of clothing companies in the fashion industry.

Brand: Through The Fire

Brand Identity: Morals and values of parenthood.

Mission Statement: Strengthen and guide parents and youth worldwide through artistic content designed to instill morals, values and purpose.

Origin Story: Founder and CEO, A-Squared, full well knows the in’s and out’s of what it takes to be a parent. Everyday is a challenge but regardless, a parent has to set the right example for there child or children. The quote “It takes a village” is more than just a wise statement, it is advice. Through The Fire was founded to help parents and children worldwide succeed in the day to day struggles and adventures of life.

Brand: Foolish Wisdom

Brand Identity: Funny and intriguing quotes.

Mission Statement: Provide provoking dialogue for the global intellectual community through humorous, motivational, opinionated quotes stemming from research of the human psyche.

Origin Story: Founder and CEO, A-Squared, developed a talent and liking of writing. Over the years, scribing his thoughts, feelings, fears and hopes and life experiences down on paper helped him to deal with the unpredictables of life. Humor is always a great way to deal with trauma as well as thought provoking quotes. Therefore, each quote from Foolish Wisdom isn’t an everyday, over used phrase but rather a constructive written coping mechanism to put a smile on your face or a positive thought for brain to consume.

Brand: AFER

Brand Identity: Afrocentric Culture

Mission Statement: Recognize and illustrate African American culture for the cultural responsive global community through fashion with fact based designs inspired from thorough research.

Origin Story: Being an African American man, founder and CEO, A-Squared, developed a passion for his heritage. Whether unearthing historical facts, discovering an animal or learning of one the many various cultures of the motherland, A-Squared wanted to share his fondness of one of the most unique continents on planet earth. A continent his ancestors are from. A continent we all call Africa. AFER, meaning “Of Africa”, is the brand which celebrates Africa, African culture and African American culture through each and every design and quote.

Brand: Bay Vibes

Brand Identity: Bay Area Culture

Mission Statement: Our mission is to express Bay Area culture through authentic art designed to spark pride and love in the diverse communities of the Bay Area.

Origin Story: Born at home on 3rd street in the Bayview section of San Francisco and raised in various neighborhoods in East Oakland, founder and CEO, A-Squared, has lived and witnessed Bay Area culture 100%. From the music, to the slang, to the fashion and more, growing up in Oakland and San Francisco, both unique cities for of diverse cultures, has helped shape A-Squared to become the multi-talented man he is today.

Brand: Glass Ceilings

Brand Identity: Mental Health

Mission Statement: Develop future generations of the under privileged global community through high quality artistic fashion focused on enhancement of emotional and mental health.

Origin Story: Growing up in the inner city. Growing up in a single parent home. Growing up experiencing traumatic and pivotal events in life, founder and CEO, ASquared, has dealt with various forms of emotional and mental trauma. Thanks to art, A-Squared had a way to deal with the agonies of life. Glass Ceilings was founded to be a guide for any and all who share his story.

Brand Identity: Entrepreneurship

Mission Statement: Reinforce entrepreneurs worldwide through high quality fashion with comprehensive, research based artistic designs and innovative products.

Origin Story: Founder and CEO, A-Squared, is obviously an entrepreneur, a go-getter, and hustler due to founding 3 Monarchs Fashion House. Striving everyday to bring his idea from just a thought to a thriving business, he can sympathize with the lowest of lows, the frustrations, disappointments and failures of endeavoring to not only running a business but starting one. 8 Days is the brand for men and women who thirst to be there own CEO.
